Vasif Khan’s journey into hairstyling began in Sahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, inspired by his friend Zakir, a local barber. Captivated by the craft, Vasif spent his early years watching Zakir work and, at 14, left school to pursue his passion.

Moving to Delhi, he started at a herbal academy, where mentor Aruna Jaiswal encouraged him to expand his skills to women’s hair. In 2005, he completed his first formal training at the Hyatt Hotel, mastering Schwarzkopf’s color bonding and haircutting techniques, which led him to Hair Craft, a Schwarzkopf salon.

 

Over the years, Vasif worked at notable salons, including Madonna, Affinity (as Art Director), and later Hair Masters and Noi Tré as Creative Art Director. Known for his expertise in color and styling, he is also an advocate for Wella.

His talent has attracted celebrity clients, including Saajz,

Guru Randhawa, DJ Yogi, and he’s styled icons like Deepika Padukone, Sushmita Sen, Kriti Sanon, and Megha Chatterjee for high-profile events, such as Fiama Di Wills showcases.
